Information about TC's
CT scans can be helical (hospital) or Cone Beam (clinic) in Dicom format. Partial edentulous.

Partial edentulous: A single CT scan of the patient is sufficient; the medical engineer and prescriber will only be able to plan the implants according to the bone and not according to the teeth.

Total edentulous: It is highly recommended to perform the double CT technique, the engineer and medical prescriber will be able to plan according to the teeth of the wax-up, being able to evaluate the loads and the esthetics of the treatment. The double CT technique consists of a CT of the patient with the diagnostic wax-up (barite or gutta-percha stitches) in the mouth, biting a bite index or cottons and another CT of only the diagnostic wax-up.

Upper jaws it is essential that the uptake volume goes from the upper part of the orbit to the antagonist's teeth.

Our engineers will perform a planning with subperiosteal implants, send a planning by e-mail and organize a remote control meeting with the maxillofacial to verify it.

When you access “UPLOAD TC” you must drag the folders or digital files you want to send to the indicated section of Smash.

When you're finished, we'll email you the details of the treatment record you just completed. Within 24 to 48 hours, our engineers will confirm receipt of the digital files. If they are correct, they will proceed with pre-planning the processing according to your instructions.
They will then send you the prior planning by email, which you must approve or request a remote control meeting to verify it.
